Newtown Choral Society ®
The Newtown Choral Society is a non-audition community chorus. We're based in Newtown, CT, but many of our members come from surrounding towns. We welcome singers of all ages (high school on up), in all voices (SATB), and all abilities. Some of our members are trained vocalists, some of us simply like to sing choral music in a collegial, friendly environment.
We meet for rehearsal each Wednesday, 7pm at Newtown's Congregational Church. Rehearsals for our December holiday concert start in September, rehearsals for our spring concert commence in January. In addition to these two concerts, NCS is also available to perform at community events.

Thanks to all who attended our spring concert! We appreciate the huge turnout and we hope you enjoyed the program as much as we did.
We are off for the summer but rehearsals for our December 2026 Holiday Concert will commence in September. New members in all voices are welcome to join us--no auditions required.
